Basketball Recap: Mountain View Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Mountain View lost against Rich back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mountain View Buffalos fell 62-51 to the Rich Rebels.

Rich's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Scott, who went 5 of 10 en route to 17 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Scott a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ridge Lundgren, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 14 points.

Mountain View's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1. As for Rich, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Mountain View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 62-50 win against Big Piney on the 14th. As for Rich, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-47 victory against Wind River on the 14th.
