Kenwood skates past Manassas with ease

The Kenwood Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They breezed by Manassas on the road to the tune of 82-11. That looming 82-11 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Kenwood yet this season.

Kenwood's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zy?kerion Hinton, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. That's the first time this season that Hinton pulled down eight or more rebounds. Jason Russell was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with four steals.

The victory (which was Kenwood's third in a row) raised their record to 6-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Manassas, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Kenwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Henry County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Manassas is on the road again on Friday and play against Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering at 1:00 p.m. on January 5th. Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 565 points over their last nine games.
