Soccer Recap: Brentwood School Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Brentwood School Eagles came up short against the Birmingham Patriots and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 389th, while the Patriots are ranked sixth).

Brentwood School's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-2. As for Birmingham, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brentwood School will challenge Campbell Hall at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Birmingham, they will take on Granada Hills Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
