Basketball Recap: Capitan Comes Up Short

Capitan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 74-57 bruising from the Mescalero Apache Chiefs. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chiefs earlier this season, when they won 59-57.

Capitan's loss dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Mescalero Apache, their win bumped their record up to 7-20.

Capitan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mescalero Apache, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lordsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
