Volleyball Recap: Eastbrook Takes a Loss

Eastbrook came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Oak Hill Golden Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-16.

Eastbrook's offense was headlined by Adrianna Cogan and Bristol Brodkorb, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Sloan Brown and her nine assists.

Eastbrook's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-14. As for Oak Hill, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-8.

Eastbrook wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Madison-Grant on the 11th. As for Oak Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Mississinewa on the 11th.
