Strongsville put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Shaker Heights Red Raiders with a sharp 71-50 victory. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Red Raiders are ranked 512th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Strongsville's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. As for Shaker Heights, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Strongsville will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. Strongsville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Lakewood likes a good challenge. As for Shaker Heights, they will square off against Brunswick at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
