Volleyball Game Preview: Colerain Cardinals vs. Harrison Wildcats

Colerain is 1-7-1 against Harrison since August of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Cardinals will venture away from home to face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m.

Colerain came up short against Taylor on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Colerain ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Harrison gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against Lakota West by a score of 3-1.

Colerain beat Harrison 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
