Basketball Recap: Tularosa Takes a Loss

Tularosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 52-27 to the Eunice Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Cardinals are ranked 35th).

Tularosa's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Eunice, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tularosa will challenge Estancia at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eunice, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Eunice Cardinals take on the Hagerman Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
