Arroyo Grande has gone 8-2 against Righetti recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 4:30 p.m.

On Monday, Arroyo Grande came up short against Mission College Prep and fell 4-1. The Eagles have struggled against the Royals recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Arroyo Grande saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Stennett (2025), who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, while Righetti put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Cabrillo. The Warriors put the hurt on the Conquistadores with a sharp 6-0 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

Cabrillo's batters probably weren't too happy with Emily Fortin, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 13 Ks (she gave up a single walk). Fortin has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jenna Arguijo, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.

Righetti has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Arroyo Grande, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Arroyo Grande was able to grind out a solid win over Righetti when the teams last played back in March, winning 7-2. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
