Charlotte won the last time they faced Sexton and things went their way on Friday too. The Orioles were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Big Reds. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Orioles.

Nolan Aapala was a standout: he went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Brayden Parshall, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Charlotte was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April.

Charlotte's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games.
