Basketball Recap: Mitchell Comes Up Short

Mitchell extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping them down to 2-15. They were outmatched by the Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs and fell 57-10. If the Marauders were looking for revenge after losing 49-18 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in February of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Pueblo Centennial, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6. That 47-point margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Pueblo Centennial got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jailee Schwab out in front who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Conley, who scored eight points.

Mitchell has already played their next contest (against Elizabeth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Pueblo Centennial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 47-20 win against Pueblo Central on the 4th.
