Football Recap: Arcadia Takes a Loss

Arcadia played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 42-13 loss at the hands of the Sussex Tech Ravens. The Firebirds were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

When it comes to explaining why Arcadia lost, don't look at Nakahi Wilson. Despite the final result, he rushed for 82 yards and one TD on only 11 carries, and also caught one touchdown. Wilson got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 60 yards.

This is the second loss in a row for Arcadia and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Sussex Tech, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Arcadia has already played their next matchup, a 37-19 victory against Lancaster on the 3rd. As for Sussex Tech, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 26-21 defeat against Lake Forest on the 4th.
