Combine Academy Varsity had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Sunday. They strolled past the Wake County Academy HomeSchool Wolves with points to spare, taking the game 56-37.

Despite the defeat, Wake County Academy HomeSchool saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Madden Smith posted 11 points and seven boards. Smith is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was E Williams, who scored 11 points.

Combine Academy Varsity's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points over those games. As for Wake County Academy HomeSchool, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

As of now, neither Combine Academy Varsity nor Wake County Academy HomeSchool have any future games scheduled.
