Soccer Recap: Midland Legacy Takes a Loss

Midland Legacy fought the good fight in their overtime game against Odessa on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They lost 4-1 to the Odessa Bronchos. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Bronchos are ranked 130th).

Midland Legacy's goal came courtesy of Jason Maltos, which was the first he's scored this season.

Midland Legacy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10-3. As for Odessa, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Midland Legacy nor Odessa have any future games scheduled.
