Basketball Recap: Holy Cross Takes a Loss

Holy Cross lost against Archbishop Rummel back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Holy Cross Tigers fell 60-49 to the Archbishop Rummel Raiders.

TJ Duhe continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Archbishop Rummel, going 7 of 11 to rack up 18 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Grant Latino was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 11 boards.

Holy Cross' defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 21-4. As for Archbishop Rummel, their victory bumped their record up to 16-10.

Looking ahead, Holy Cross will take on John Curtis Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Archbishop Rummel, they will challenge Edna Karr at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
