Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Parkview). They enjoyed a cozy 27-8 win over the Hillcrest Hornets on Friday. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 19-18 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Parkview is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.5 points on average over those games. As for Hillcrest, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkview will host Rolla at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.57 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hillcrest, they will be playing at home against Branson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
