Grace Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Hayden Hill, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Hill has posted since back in April of 2024. Katherine Mullins was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
Hill wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Grace Christian Academy lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Farragut has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.43 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They fell just short of Karns by a score of 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Admirals have suffered since April 8, 2024.
Elsa Morrison made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Ginel, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.
Grace Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Farragut, their loss dropped their record down to 20-7-1.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Grace Christian Academy has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.6 hits per game. However, it's not like Farragut struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
