There's no place like home for Emery, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over the Canyon View Falcons on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won four in a row.
Kallee Lake made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over 4.2 innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one triple and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.
