Baseball Recap: Detroit Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Detroit's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Pewitt Brahmas on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Detroit's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 6.7 runs. As for Pewitt, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1.

While Detroit had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
