Basketball Game Preview: River Ridge Wildcats vs. East Dubuque Warriors

River Ridge hasn't had much luck against East Dubuque recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The River Ridge Wildcats will take on the East Dubuque Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

River Ridge took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They secured a 52-47 W over Galena. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, East Dubuque waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Thunder 66-43. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

East Dubuque pushed their record up to 17-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for River Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.

River Ridge came up short against East Dubuque in their previous matchup back in January, falling 69-58. Can River Ridge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
