Berwick came tearing into Thursday's matchup with 15 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Abington Heights Comets. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Comets, too.

Berwick had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-22, 25-19, 27-25.

Berwick's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Julia Rauch led the charge by getting 11 digs, five kills, and two blocks. Those five kills gave Rauch a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zoey Force, who had 20 digs and two aces.

Katherine Hastie and Alaina Krempasky certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Hastie had eight digs and two aces, while Krempasky had 16 kills and six digs. Krempasky has been hot, having posted six or more kills the last six times she's played.

Berwick's record is now 18-1. As for Abington Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 28-1.

As of now, neither Berwick nor the Comets have any future games scheduled.
