Simsboro and Family Community Christian squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Simsboro had to settle for second. They lost 14-6 to Family Community Christian. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Jacoya Lewis and Kailee Hamilton stepped up to the plate in a big way. Lewis went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double, while Hamilton went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was Hamilton's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Callie Harrison, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Simsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 20-11. As for Family Community Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.
