Volleyball Game Preview: Golder Panthers vs. Intrinsic Mustangs

The Golder Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Intrinsic Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Golder has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with four straight losses, while Intrinsic will come in with four straight wins.

It was a proper cat-fight when Golder challenged Rauner on Wednesday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Intrinsic beat Orr 2-0 on Wednesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Intrinsic took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-14.

Golder better keep an eye on Ethan Miranda. He was instrumental in Intrinsic's win, getting seven digs and five aces. That's the most aces Miranda has posted over his last five contests.

Intrinsic couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 61.9% of their attack attempts. That's the best hitting percentage they've posted all season.
