Baseball Recap: Lebanon Takes a Loss

Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dallas Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Friday.

Lebanon saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Turnidge, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That double marked the first that Turnidge has hit this season. Another was Logan Taylor, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Dallas, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lebanon is set to face off against their familiar foe South Albany at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Dallas will square off against rival Silverton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
