Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crystal City). Everything went their way against the Natalia Mustangs on Tuesday as the Crystal City Javelinas made off with an 83-58 victory. The win was nothing new for the Javelinas as they're now sitting on three straight.

Christopher Mena continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten boards. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Jayden Rousseau was another key player, going 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Crystal City smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 15 offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.

Crystal City's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points per game. As for Natalia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Crystal City will square off against Jourdanton at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Crystal City is facing Jourdanton at the right time seeing as Jourdanton is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Natalia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cotulla at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
