Basketball Recap: Watchung Hills Regional Comes Up Short

Watchung Hills Regional lost against Franklin back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Watchung Hills Regional Warriors fell just short of the Franklin Warriors by a score of 58-55.

Watchung Hills Regional's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 3.25 points. As for Franklin, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Watchung Hills Regional and Pope John XXIII will compete for holiday cheer at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Franklin will take on East Brunswick in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
