Softball Game Preview: Florence Buffaloes vs. Blanco Panthers

Florence is 0-10 against Blanco since March of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Buffaloes will venture away from home to take on the Panthers at 7:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, Florence didn't have quite enough to beat Llano and fell 7-6.

Chaztin Futrell made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Blanco, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Brady a 15-0 shutout on Wednesday.

Landry Meyer was incredible, firing off two home runs and six RBI while going 2-for-4. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in February. Avery Flack was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Florence now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Blanco, their record now sits at 9-14-1.

Florence might still be hurting after the 18-1 defeat they got from Blanco in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Buffaloes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
