William Floyd won the last time they faced Sachem East and things went their way on Friday too. The Colonials simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sachem East 34-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Colonials' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 67th, while Sachem East are ranked 347th).

William Floyd's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaquan Thomas led the charge by rushing for 128 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries. Thomas is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 128 every time he's taken the field this season. Alex Salamone was another key player, rushing for 53 yards and one score.

The win was the third in a row for William Floyd, bringing their record up to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.7 points on average this season. As for Sachem East, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
