Basketball Game Preview: Central Rebels vs. Saxony Lutheran Crusaders

Central is on a four-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Saxony Lutheran is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Central Rebels will host the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Central saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 56-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hillsboro.

Meanwhile, Saxony Lutheran came into Saturday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past Kingston with a 42-36 victory last Saturday.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Saxony Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Saxony Lutheran in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 71-63. Will Central repeat their success, or does Saxony Lutheran have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
