Softball Recap: Hesperia Christian Triumphs

Hesperia Christian gave up the first runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Bethel Christian Kings. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

The team relied heavily on Elyse VanderWeide, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Emily Speer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Hesperia Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. They are 5-1-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
