Basketball Recap: Deerfield-Windsor Falls Short of Terrell Academy in the Playoffs

Deerfield-Windsor and Terrell Academy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Deerfield-Windsor had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Terrell Academy Eagles, falling 48-17. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 315th, while the Eagles are ranked 70th).

Deerfield-Windsor's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Terrell Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 24-0.

As of now, neither Deerfield-Windsor nor Terrell Academy have any future games scheduled.
