Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Henrico). They strolled past the Armstrong Wildcats with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 79-65. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 117th, while the Wildcats are ranked 367th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Henrico is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for Armstrong, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Henrico will face off against Mechanicsville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Armstrong, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Manor at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Armstrong is facing Manor at the right time seeing as Manor is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
