Volleyball Game Preview: Carver Challengers vs. Simeon Wolverines

Carver hasn't had much luck against Simeon recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Challengers will head out to challenge the Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Carver came up short against Kelly and fell 2-0.

While Carver had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Simeon also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Victoria Soto by a score of 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16.

Simeon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Carver, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 4-4.

Carver couldn't quite get it done against Simeon when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Challengers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
