Recap: Lancaster Christian Academy Knights vs. Ezell-Harding Christian Eagles
After flying high against Holloway last Friday, the Lancaster Christian Academy Knights came back down to earth. Lancaster Christian Academy's tough 64-43 defeat to Ezell-Harding Christian on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lancaster Christian Academy has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Lancaster Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Josh Whitt scored 23 points along with five rebounds. The matchup was Whitt's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Albert Clark, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Lancaster Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Ezell-Harding Christian, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.
Lancaster Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Christian Community at 6:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Ezell-Harding Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Rockcastle County at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. One thing working in Rockcastle County's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matchups.
