The Bethel Christian Kings waltzed into Thursday's contest with three straight wins but they left with four. They secured a 66-60 W over Cornerstone Christian. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Josh Coba was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists. The match was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Joseph Kyababchian, who scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Bethel Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Cornerstone Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Bethel Christian will be playing at home against Crossroads Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Crossroads Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Cornerstone Christian, they will take on Bonsall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
