Volleyball Recap: Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Takes a Loss

Chetek-Weyerhaeuser lost against Spring Valley on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 21-25, 25-20, 25-13.

Despite the loss, Chetek-Weyerhaeuser still got an impressive performance from Kaydence Ludwigson, who had 19 digs and one assist. Ludwigson has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Chetek-Weyerhaeuser's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Spring Valley, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Chetek-Weyerhaeuser didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mercer on the 27th. As for Spring Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Boyceville on the 30th.
