Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wellesley). They were the clear victors by a 42-21 margin over the Newton North Tigers on Friday. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

The win got Wellesley back to even at 3-3. As for Newton North, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wellesley will host Natick at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Newton North, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Braintree at 6:00 p.m. on the 31st.
