Soccer Recap: Lake Washington Takes a Loss

Lake Washington was the 3-2 winner over Hazen when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Kangaroos took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highlanders on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Lake Washington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Hazen are ranked sixth).

Lake Washington's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-3. As for Hazen, the win keeps they at an undefeated 15-0-1.

Lake Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hazen, they are taking a road trip to challenge Issaquah at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
