Basketball Recap: Allen County-Scottsville Comes Up Short

Allen County-Scottsville was the 74-53 winner over South Warren when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Allen County-Scottsville Patriots took a 72-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Warren Spartans on Monday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (57), the Patriots still had to take the loss.

Allen County-Scottsville's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for South Warren, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-12 record this season.

While Allen County-Scottsville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
