Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Roosevelt's offense. They came up short against the Lincoln Tigers on Monday, falling 11-0. The Mustangs have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lincoln, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Roosevelt will take on rival Conrad at 4:30 p.m. on the 24th. Meanwhile, Lincoln is set to square off against their familiar foe Kimball at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
