Volleyball Game Preview: Branchville Yellow Jackets vs. Palmetto Scholars Academy Phoenix

Branchville has gone a perfect 3-0 against Palmetto Scholars Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets are taking a road trip to square off against the Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. Branchville will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Branchville got the win against Baptist Hill by a conclusive 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-7, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Palmetto Scholars Academy came up short against Lowcountry Leadership last Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Phoenix have struggled against the NaviGators recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Palmetto Scholars Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-11, 25-19, 25-23.

Palmetto Scholars Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Branchville, their win bumped their record up to 13-6-1.

Everything went Branchville's way against Palmetto Scholars Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Branchville made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellow Jackets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
