Baseball Recap: Barton Comes Up Short

Barton came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 20-0 to the Palestine-Wheatley Patriots. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Barton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Palestine-Wheatley, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

While Barton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
