Baseball Recap: Fruita Monument Wildcats vs. Palisade Bulldogs
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Fruita Monument ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Palisade Bulldogs. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.
Josh Weaver made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.
