Softball Recap: Keystone Oaks' Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a good run, but Keystone Oaks unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 11-6 to the McGuffey Highlanders. The Golden Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Highlanders earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Keystone Oaks saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Myla Zaborowski, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Another was Evie Kyper, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one double.

Keystone Oaks' defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for McGuffey, their record now sits at 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Keystone Oaks is set to take on their familiar foe South Park at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, McGuffey will face off against rival Charleroi at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
