Elkhorn South extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Jaydon Sutko. The Storm breezed past the Omaha South Packers to the tune of 63-6 on Thursday thanks in part to Sutko, who rushed for 114 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries. Sutko is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 111 every time he's taken the field this season.
The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Siemek, who picked up 106 receiving yards and two scores. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 80 yards.
Elkhorn South didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. It was a group effort, with five picking up one apiece. Nathan Zehr got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Elkhorn South's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Omaha South, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
