Volleyball Recap: Celina Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Celina, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bath Wildcats on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Celina was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-12.

Among those leading the charge was Avery Niekamp, who had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted since September 8th. Trisha Stein also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Despite the loss, Bath still got an impressive performance from Hunter Neff, who had 16 digs.

Celina's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 7-13. As for Bath, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

Celina has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Ottawa-Glandorf on the 2nd. Bath has also already played their next contest (against Defiance), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
