Football Recap: Elk Grove Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Elk Grove played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 40-14 to the Schaumburg Saxons. The Grenadiers have struggled against the Saxons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Danniell Halilovic threw for 146 yards and two touchdowns. Connor Jasinek was his top target, picking up 32 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Deen Alisic rushed for 40 yards.

Schaumburg found their leader in sophomore Izzy Pedroza, who rushed for 125 yards and one TD.

Elk Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Schaumburg, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
