Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mission Heights Prep). They breezed past American Leadership Academy to the tune of 44-0 on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 36-0 back in August.

One reason for the win was Mission Heights Prep's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Kyson Buckner and Jordan Sparks, who racked up five sacks between them.

Mission Heights Prep's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for American Leadership Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mission Heights Prep will host AZ Compass Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Phantoms will need to watch out since the Dragons have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for American Leadership Academy, they will face off against Skyline Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. American Leadership Academy will be up against the Bengals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
