Ignacio is 8-2 against Nucla since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Bobcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Mustangs at 1:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

On Thursday, Ignacio made easy work of Mancos and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Bluejays: they've now won three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Nucla got the win against Ridgway last Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11, 25-20.

Ignacio's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Nucla, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Ignacio took their victory against Nucla when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
