Lee Central has gone 10-0 against Lamar recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lee Central Stallions are taking a road trip to square off against the Lamar Silver Foxes at 6:15 p.m. Lee Central's defense has only allowed 26.3 points per game this season, so Lamar's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Lee Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Governor's School for Science & Math to the tune of 87-2 on Tuesday. The Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 31 points or more this season.

Lee Central can attribute much of their success to Hannah Reames, who went 7 for 13 on her way to 14 points in addition to eight steals and five boards, and Serenity Williams, who went 8 of 17 on her way to 17 points in addition to seven steals and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ke'Myra Dennis, who went 5 for 8 on her way to 11 points and four steals.

Lee Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 29 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Lamar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against Kingstree, falling 64-14. While losing is never fun, the Silver Foxes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while the Blazers are ranked 95th).

Lee Central is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.2 points per game. As for Lamar, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Everything came up roses for Lee Central against Lamar in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 44-17 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lee Central since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
